Esther works very hard to support her family and improve her standards of living. She owns a house with neither electricity nor piped water. Currently, she is running a business of selling food products. She is requesting a loan of Kshs 25,000 to buy more potatoes, tomatoes, onions, cereals and vegetables for resale to satisfy her clients by offering varieties of food products.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
