Kadzo is from Kisauni, Mombasa. Her husband is a driver and together they have seven children. She works selling fruits and vegetables in a little shed at the entrance to town.
With sacrifice and dedication she managed to get her seven children ahead, with the help of her husband. She is a very hardworking woman. She says she always has worked and she is not afraid of challenges. Her goal is to be able to continue growing and have a bigger shed to continue helping her family and her husband.
Kadzo is coming to Yehu Microfinance and to Kiva for a loan to buy vegetables such as tomatoes, green peppers, carrots, and onions as well as seasonal fruit to be able to supply her business with top-quality products to offer to her customers.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
