The A.C. "April 5th," will be starting its third loan cycle with Pro Mujer as a part of the Senkata Focal Center. It is made up of 8 members and is directed by a board of directors where Mrs. María Eugenia is the president. The businesses of the communal association members are varied including: pea sales, a neighborhood store, magazine sales, toy sales, CD sales, recreational toy sales, and clothing sales.

The loan will help the small businesses. Mrs. María Eugenia shared that this is the second cycle with Pro Mujer, admitted by an institution's promoter that visited them at their homes. At the moment, she has a business where she sells magazines. She shares that she started this business on her own 15 years ago and this business is currently her family's income.

The loan will be used to increase merchandise (purchase of magazines) bought from wholesale sellers in La Paz city and afterwards will sell in her locale. This business helps her have an income to maintain her home and support her two children since she live in a common-law marriage.

When she is asked what she likes most about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the health training and loans.

La A.C. “5 DE ABRIL” iniciará el tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Senkata, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora María Eugenia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de anticucho, tienda de barrio, venta de revistas, venta de juguetes, venta de CD’s, venta de comida, venta de juegos recreativos, venta de ropa.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora María Eugenia da a conocer que este es el segundo ciclo que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de revistas; da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió por iniciativa propia hace quince años atrás, actualmente es el negocio de sustento de su familia.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de revistas) que adquirirá de las vendedoras mayoristas de la ciudad de La Paz y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en unión libre y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta le gusta las capacitaciones en salud y crédito.
