Lan was born in 1972. She has four children. Her two older daughters are laborers. The younger daughter is learning in primary school. Her son is still really little. Her husband is a farmer and earns about 5,000,000 VND per month. Lan is a laborer. Her income is about 4,000,000 VND. She has done this job for two years. Her family’s total earnings are about 17,000,000 VND per month.
She has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2010. In the last cycle she borrowed 8,288,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 9,632,000 VND. She will use the loan to buy a cow. She wants to have a cow as support for her planting of rice. She always wants to raise her children up well.
