Luis is single and in a common-law relationship with his partner. They have two children who are of school age. Actualmente trabaja como vendedor repartidor de productos masivos de limpieza, de donde percibe un ingreso salario mensual, la esposa trabaja como niñera percibiendo un salario mensual, es la única actividad que tienen y por lo tanto el único ingreso, ambos se encargan de los gastos familiares y de los pagos de los servicios básicos de su familia.
El crédito lo requiere para la compra de estuco, pintura para la reparación de paredes de su casa ya que se encuentra deteriorado y así poder mejorar su calidad de vida.
El sueño de Luis es ver a sus hijos convertidos en profesionales y así mejorar su calidad de vida.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
