Corina is married with two children, who help their parents. They live in a family home, which is located in the area of San Sebastian in the city of La Paz.

Corina studied at a teachers' college and has a superior technical degree in educational sciences. In her career, she helped with classes at schools. She is currently dedicated to caring for her husband, who is in medical treatment for a heart disease. Corina works every day painting and embroidering fabric to help her husband. They both maintain themselves in terms of food, clothing, and basic services.

She needs this loan for her husband's medical treatment. He also makes a living painting fabric with tempera, which he sells in various offices in the city of La Paz.

Corina's dream is for her husband to recover from his illness. Her family's quality of life will then improve.

Doña corina, es casada y tiene dos hijos, quienes ayudan a sus padres, viven en casa familiar, la casa se encuentra ubicada en la zona San Sebastian de la ciudad de La Paz.
Corina estudió en la Normal y es técnico superior en ciencias de la educación; en su carrera ayudo dando clases en las escuelas y actualmente se dedica al cuidado de su esposo que está en tratamiento médico por una enfermedad del corazón. Corina trabaja todos los días de la semana, en el pintado de tela y bordado de la misma para ayudar su esposo, ambos mantienen en su alimentación, vestimenta, y servicios básicos.

El crédito lo requiere para tratamiento médico del esposo, quien también se dedica al pintado en tela con temperas los cuales realiza la venta en los diferentes oficinas de la ciudad de La Paz.

El sueño que tiene Doña Corina es que el esposo se pueda recuperar de su enfermedad. Así podrá mejorar la calidad de vida de su familia.

Es la primera vez que solicita crédito junto a IMPRO y la primera vez con KIVA.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.
