Jane is a 41-year-old mother from Kakamega County, which is located in the western part of Kenya. She is married to James, who is a farmer, and she is blessed with three children who are 18, 16 and 10 years old.
She sells secondhand clothes, a business she has been doing for the last seven years, and makes a monthly income of 30,000 Kenyan Shillings (KES). She is applying for her third loan with KADET Ltd., which she will use to purchase more bales of secondhand clothes. She will put the anticipated profits back into the business.
She has a dream of becoming a successful business lady and also to support her family.
