Feride is a 53-year-old married woman with seven grown children. She lives in the south. Her husband is a pensioner, and Feride works in agriculture to earn a living and provide for family needs. Because there is demand in the neighborhood, she has started to sell milk and milk products to others in her community. She has been selling fresh milk to the local dairy farm and has made a good living, and profits, from this so far. To generate even more income, she has applied for a loan to buy another cow. In the future, she plans to add more cows and to increase her business and milk production. She is aware that without Kiva’s, support her goal will be difficult to achieve.
