Fatoumata
Born in 1982 in Sikasso, Fatoumata is a divorcee and a mother of two children who live in a large, traditional, extended [family] in Medine, one of the neighborhoods around the town of Sikasso (3rd administrative region of the republic of Mali).

After having tried many different jobs without success, Fatoumata finally opened her own shop, where she buys and sells food products. [She has been doing this] for more than five years now. She conducts her business in front of her house in Medine Sikasso, where she is highly sought after by her customers because of the quality of her products. To satisfy her growing number of customers, she decided to join the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso three years ago. She has already benefited from six loans that have all been repaid without difficulty.

So now, Fatoumata is asking for this seventh loan to buy from suppliers in Sikasso, but also Bamako, 20 packets of NBB drink, 20 cases of Bramali drink, 40 cartons of mineral water, 10 cartons of Candia milk, 15 cartons of different canned drinks (Malta, Vimto, Ivorio), 20 packets of mineral water in sachets, and some cartons of different quality cookies.

She hopes to earn with this loan an average monthly income of 170,000 francs CFA, which will be used to increase her business capital, contribute to her family's expenses, and to pay the interest on the loan.

Née en 1982 à Sikasso, Fatoumata est une divorcée et mère de deux enfants qui vit dans une grande traditionnelle élargie à Médine un des quartiers périphérique de la ville de Sikasso (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Après avoir mené beaucoup d’activités sans succès, Fatoumata s’est finalement initiée aux activités d’achat et de vente d’articles d’alimentation depuis maintenant plus de cinq années. Elle mène son activité devant leur domicile à Médine Sikasso où elle est beaucoup sollicitée de sa clientèle pour la qualité de ses produits.
Pour satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, elle décida de rejoindre l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso depuis plus de trois années et avec qui elle a déjà bénéficié de six prêts qui ont été tous remboursés sans difficulté.
Ainsi, elle sollicite ce septième prêt pour acheter auprès de ses fournisseurs de Sikasso mais aussi de Bamako, 20 paquets de boisson NBB, 20 casiers de boisson BRAMALI, 40 cartons d’eau minérale, 10 cartons de lait Candia, 15 cartons de boisson en canettes différentes (Malta, Vimto, Ivorio), 20 paquets d’eau minérale en sachets et des cartons de biscuits de qualités différentes.
Elle envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 170 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour augmenter son fonds de commerce, contribuer aux dépenses familiales et payer les intérêts de son prêt.
