Mas, 53, is a local villager from Dambae district of Kampong Cham province. She has six children in total, one school aged child and five farmers. She manages two hectares of farmland to grow rubber tree seedlings while her husband works for others for a fee for extra income.
She has been engaged in the current business for three years. This is not the first loan for Mas with VisionFund(Kiva’s partner). She has utilized her past loan wisely to improve her standard of living. Now, she is seeking a new loan in order to buy bowls to collect latex and potash. She hopes to collect a high yield of latex and make a good income so that she can enlarge this business.
