The community bank "Palomitas Blancas" will start its thirteenth cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Focus Center of the Andes. It is comprised of nine members and directed by a board of directors, of which Nemesia is President. The businesses that the members of the communal bank bring forward are various; among them are: milkshake sales, adult clothing sales, under garment and jewelry sales, ice cream sales, natural medicine sales, cosmetics sales, and hat sales.

The loan that they will take out will benefit small businesses where Nemesia is a member. She said that nine years ago she joined Pro Mujer, by the invitation of her sister, who is an associate of the institution. Currently she has a business selling clothes. She says that she learned this business more than ten years ago by her mother's recommendation.

The loan that she will take out now is for the increase of capital (purchase of clothing), that she will acquire from wholesale vendors, and later she will sell it at her stand. This form of working allows her to generate resources to maintain her home, as she lives with someone and has two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the area of health and the trainings about loans.

La A.C. “PALOMITAS BLANCAS” iniciará el décimo tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Los Andes, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Nemesia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de batidos, venta de ropa de adulto, venta de ropa interior y joyas, ambulante, venta de helado, venta de medicina natural, venta de cosméticos, venta de sombreros y gorras.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Nemesia es integrante, ella indica que hace nueve años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de su hermano que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de ropa; cuenta que este negocio lo aprendió hace mas de diez años por recomendación de su madre.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra ropa) que adquirirá de las vendedoras mayoristas y posteriormente lo comercializara en su puesto fijo. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en concubinato y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y las capacitaciones en crédito.
