Joyce lives in Sinkor, one of the areas where the living condition is almost like that of the people who live in the center of Monrovia. She is 38 years old, married, with three children between the ages of 12 to 20. Two are in school and only one lives at home.
For 16 years, Joyce has been involved in the sales of foodstuff, like rice and pepper. Sometimes, her customers buy on credit and don’t pay on time. She learned this way of selling from her friends and she likes her business because it gives her money.
Joyce is requesting a loan to purchase rice, pepper, oil, coal, etc. for her business. Her plan is to build a house.
