Nanotte has been managing her food business for seven years and before launching this business she was a student. She would like to use this loan to invest in food products and hopes it will help her to expand her business.
The other active members of the group need a loan for charcoal, cosmetics, shoes, clothing and other businesses. Nanotte says that her main challenge is to become a significant trader.

Des autres membres militant ont besoin d’un emprunt pour tels commerces de produit divers comme charbon, cosmetiques, chaussures, vetement, etc. Nanotte dit que les défis principal c'est devenus une grande commerçante.

This loan is designed for a borrower or group of borrowers in Haiti. Esperanza is one of the few MFIs currently working in the northeast region of the country. Through lending, the organization aims to stimulate economic growth and opportunity in a country that has suffered debilitating crises, including political instability, natural disasters and poverty. Esperanza lends primarily to groups of women who cross-guarantee each other's loans. They also receive financial literacy courses and health services.
