Mwanamisi is married and has six children. She owns a house without electricity or piped water, and her greatest expense is food.
She sells vegetables and fruits in her grocery store to earn a living. She is asking for a loan to buy more vegetables and fruits to sell to her customers so that she can increase her income in order to help her boost the living standards of her family.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
