Mary is married and has two children. She owns a house with electricity but without piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food and her children's school fees.
She has a vegetable stall and she is requesting for a loan of 50,000 KES to buy sacks of onions, cabbages, potatoes, fruits and kale for sale to meet the needs of her customers and satisfy the needs of her family from the cash she gets after the sales.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
