Marlene Maria
2 years ago, Marlene started up a food business, which she acquired from her uncle: initially she sold fast food and step by step she added the restaurant service with various menus. Her sales are made in the centre of the city where her business is located and she is open 10 hours a day.

Her goal is to strengthen her sales with a fully furnished kitchen which would facilitate work and bring in more and more clients, due to the efficacy of her service. At present she is applying for a Kiva loan, the first she has taken, with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. With it she will buy fried foods for sale, tables and chairs, and then she needs to turn the dining area into a comfortable and pleasant space, to generate more income and so she can improve the well-being of her three children between the ages of 14 and 17 and with it, a more successful life.
