Ndoro is married and has three children; he owns a house with neither electricity nor piped water. For the past two years, he has been working in a transportation business, using a motorcycle (bodaboda) to earn a living. In addition to that, he does farming.
He has requested a loan of KES 20,000. He will use it to buy spare parts for his motorbike, so that he can continue with the business efficiently.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
