Jura also works in agriculture and has for 18 years. Now he is asking for a loan to buy watermelon seeds and plastic. With the profits from the harvest, Jura plans to buy an additional hectare of irrigated land to expand his farming activities.

Жура 73 года. Он женат и у него двое детей. Он со своей семьей проживает в районе Шахритус в юго-западной части Таджикистана. Его жена рабоатет в дехканском хозяйстве. Дехканское хозяйство это небольшое индивидуальное или коллективное частное хозяйство, в котором работают несколько людей и где в основном выращивают хлопок, пшеницу или овощи - которые занимают 60% орошаемых земель в Таджикистане. Сам Жура занимается земледелием. Он в этой сфере более 18 лет и имеет уже большой опыт. Сейчас Жура запрашивает кредит для приобретения семян арбуза и карболита. За счет прибыли с урожая Жура планирует приобрести еще 1га орошаемой земли и тем самым расширить свою земледельческую деятельность.
