Monica is married and has four school-going children. She owns a house with electricity but without piped water. For the last seven years she has been selling vegetables and she wants now to start buying cereals to sell to her customers.
She is requesting a loan of Kshs 10,000 to buy more vegetables, dry maize, beans, and rice to sell in her shop to expand her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
