Jofesi is a thirty-two-year-old married man with one child living in Kasese, Uganda. For four years now he has been operating a retail shop. He started the business in order to supplement his meager monthly salary. Like most traders he faces challenges of price fluctuation and high license fees while his dream is to own a wholesale shop. Jofesi intends to use the loan to buy toothpaste and powdered soap to sell.
