Mwanamzungu is married to a businessman. They have two children, both of whom attend school.
Mwanamzungu has been working as a street vendor, selling clothes and shoes for women, men, and children since 2011. She has an established clientele.
Mwanamzungu is requesting a loan so that she can invest in the purchase of jeans, clothes for men and women, and uniforms for elementary and high school students.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
