Hamisi is a very hard-working man. He has been married for years, and they have a beautiful child, for whom they are constantly making efforts. They live in the town of Kisauni, Kenya.
Hamisi has been a moto taxi driver for years. He has said that his job is demanding, but he likes it very much because, through this job, he can support his wife and his child. He dreams of buying another taxi stand and another moto taxi to work with, in order to progress a little more every day. He is very happy for the chance he is offered by Yehu Microfinance Trust and by Kiva. He is requesting a loan to buy spare parts for his moto taxi, so that he will be able to keep on working, offering a good service to his customers at the same time.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
