A loan of $500 helped to buy cosmetics, clothing, personal items and more.

Cristobal Daniel's story

Cristóbal, 51, is married and is father to a 9-year-old boy who is in primary school. Cristóbal is characterized as a responsible, hard-working person with the drive for self-improvement.

He is originally from one of the ports of the region of Chinandega. He started his business 30 years ago. He has always been a fighter in life, since he was very young, but due to a lack of financial resources he was unable to achieve his dreams, such as getting a university degree. This is why he works day by day to offer his son a better education than he had, until he reaches the top: a university degree.

Thanks to his entrepreneurial abilities, he sells general merchandise for a living, which consists of selling adult and children's clothing, pants, shirts, dresses, towels sets, undergarments, cosmetics, gold garments, and home adornments. He travels to the capitol to make his purchases.

The objective of the loan is to invest in working capital and stock his business with the merchandise purchased, thus satisfying his customer's demands and in the near future increasing his income.
