Maribel Carola
Maribel Carola, 27, has a four-year-old daughter, Carla, who depends on her; her daughter’s father abandoned them two years ago and she has no knowledge of him since he emigrated to Spain.

Maribel Carola lives in the Maica zone of Cochabamba’s Cercado province. This zone is noted for being an area where dairy farming is common. Maribel Carola is a dairy farmer; she has 15 dairy cows 8 of which are producing, four are pregnant and 3 that are not lactating. All of the cows she has are the result of ten years’ efforts dedicated to this activity.

The reason for the present loan is to buy soybean husks which is needed to feed her dairy cows since by purchasing it at wholesale (by the truckload) costs are reduced.
