A loan of $200 helped buy fabric to make clothing and to resell.

Oulimata's story

Miss Oulimata lives in Senegal. For the past two years this young woman managed to meet her personal needs through her activity as a seamstress. Her concern is about buying fabric with which she makes clothes for sale.

She is a member at one of the the U-IMCEC branches where she is requesting a loan of 100,000 CFA francs. She plans to use this loan to buy fabric which will increase the choice of ready-to-wear clothing she can offer her customers.

Therefore improving earnings allows her to continue to participate in managing family responsibilities but also to save money. Projects for the future stem from her wish to expand her business activities.
