Stellah
Stellah is a mother of three children, all of school going age. She lives with her family in their rural home, where she has been carrying out farming for fifteen successive years, and producing tea, bananas, maize and beans for the local market and family upkeep.

Stellah has requested a loan of 60,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to enable her set up a greenhouse. She says this will improve her farming production, which has always been limited by her small parcel of land available for farming. She plans to save any gains made in her farming business, to enable her buy more parcels of land in the future.

She mentions pests and diseases as the major challenges in farming. She appreciate the impact Juhudi Kilimo has made on smallholder farmers.
