Mwanahamisi is a merchant who makes a living buying and selling fish. She has been dedicated to this activity for more than one year, so she already has some good experience. She is known as a person with a strong desire to move up in life and help her family.
She is requesting the loan to purchase fish, which she will use to have more fish in stock since demand is high and she wants to be able to satisfy her customers. Mwanahamisi is grateful for the help she is receiving from Kiva partner Yehu Microfinance Trust because it will be a big help.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
