Ketevan is 39 years old. She lives in the Akhmeta district with her retired mother, Mariam. The family owns a small plot of agricultural land where maize is grown. The harvested maize is sold locally at the markets. Ketevan and Mariam are tailors, and they have a small commercial space where they create custom made clothing. They get private orders from their villagers to sew different kinds of clothing.
Ketevan requested a loan for enlarging their commercial space. She will purchase building materials and also add more sewing machines and develop her business. This will increase the client number and also the family's monthly income. With more income Ketevan will be able to renovate her house and have better living conditions.
