Nuon is a 57-year-old father who has three children living together in Kompong Speu province. He is a primary school teacher in the public sector, earning a decent salary to nourish his family. He has been in this occupation for more than 30 years. In spite of working full time at school, Nuon also works in agriculture in his paddy fields alongside his spouse.
The loan that he is requesting will be used to purchase a motorcycle for home use. Also, he will utilize the rest of funds to build a bathroom, so that he can keep his family in healthy conditions. The loan will help him to satisfy their daily needs and cut down on unnecessary expenses. His dream is to have money to invest in a grocery store operating in his neighborhood.

Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
