Angelina is 44 years old, is married and has four children. She sells cereals such as maize, beans, wheat and sorghum in Tala town and has been in the business for the past six years. She also has a maize mill; selling the maize flour has been profitable, enabling her to provide for the needs of her family.
This being her sixth loan term, she plans to buy more stock of cereals to sell. These include maize and beans as well as wheat. She will also use part of the amount to repair her maize mill machine. She will use the generated income to pay school fees for her children.
She hopes to expand her business by opening another cereals business and thus make more income.
