Blanca Ofelia

She works with her husband, who goes out on foot to sell for her. They also make a living in agriculture growing beans and corn.

She's requesting a loan from CEPRODEL to invest in working capital to buy charcoal. This is so she has a greater quantity to satisfy customer demand and attract more buyers of her products. She used the previous loan to buy more charcoal and to improve her house.

She's grateful to CEPRODEL and Kiva for the opportunity and the trust they have placed in her. With the loans she has increased her business, allowing her to bring food home and have better living conditions for herself and her family.

El señora, Blanca Ofelia, es una persona trabajadora, labora diario desde muy temprano hasta la tarde, los siete días de la semana en su domicilio, su negocio venta de carbón y frijoles por saco, ella brinda atención a sus clientes.

Trabaja junto a su esposo quien le sale a vender de forma ambulante. También se dedican a la agricultura como siembra de frijoles y maíz.

Solicita el préstamo a ceprodel para invertir en capital de trabajo, para la compra de carbón. Esto con el propósito de tener mayor cantidad para satisfacer la demanda de sus clientes Y captar más compradores de sus productos. En el crédito anterior lo utilizo para comprar más carbón y mejora en su vivienda.

Se siente agradecida con ceprodel y Kiva, por la oportunidad y la confianza depositada en ella, por medio de los préstamos ha incrementado su negocio y le ha permitido llevar el sustento a su hogar y tener una condición mejor de vida y la de su familia.

Founded in 1991 and based in Managua, Nicaragua, CEPRODEL specializes in the development and funding of housing cooperatives for traditionally marginalized communities, the provision of microfinance services to small businesses, and the promotion of innovative renewable energy projects. In addition, unlike many microfinance institutions in the area that have chosen to avoid the rural areas of the country due to the increased financial risk, CEPRODEL provides financial services to numerous clients in the agriculture and livestock industry.
