A loan of $400 helped to buy clothing for resale.

Edwin Wagner's story

Edwin is a 43-year-old man who lives in the city of Pucallpa with his wife and two sons, whom he loves very much and who are his main reason for living. He is a very friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic person. He and his wife dedicate all of their efforts to providing a better life for their family.

Thanks to his efforts, Edwin was previously studying for a professional degree in accounting. Unfortunately, due to lack of financial resources and the necessity of working, he was not able to finish his studies, though he very much would have liked to do so. In his free time he likes to take walks through the warm and friendly streets of his city.

Through his own initiative, with much effort and dedication, Edwin works providing cleaning services at a city agency. He works every day for approximately 8 hours. He believes things are going well due to his strong work ethic and his friendly treatment of others.

Edwin is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks to their help he will be able to purchase clothing for resale, such as polo shirts, other types of shirts, blouses, pants, Bermuda shorts and other types of clothing for men, women and children. He and his wife will then be able to open their own business selling clothes. They will then keep working and putting forth effort to realize their greatest dream of seeing their sons grow up to be good men with professional careers.
