Mwanaisha is a single woman with one child who attends school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food.
Mwanaisha has operated a goat meat-selling business for the past three years. At the market, she sells to butcher operators. She also does farming as another source of income.
With the KES 30,000 loan, she wants to purchase more goats, so she can sell them for their meat. She dreams of expanding to a wholesale business in the future.
