Annet is married with four children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of any additional family members. She has a business selling soft drinks like passion fruit juice, sodas, mineral water and pineapple juice. She has applied for a loan of 300,000 Uganda shillings to buy more boxes of mineral water, crates of sodas, bags of passion fruit, sugar and pineapples.
Annet has been in this business for four years and works , seven days out of every week, in a shop that she rents. Her major business challenges include transportation and seasonality. She generates additional income through selling snacks. She is aspiring of using blenders to assist in squeezing juice. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and paying utility bills.
