Zuhura is married and has four children who are young and depend on her. She lives with her husband in Tiribe, Kenya.
Zuhura is an artisan who has been involved in weaving since she was very young. This gives her a good income. She learned the profession from her mother, who is also a weaver. Zuhura has been weaving for 3 years.
Zuhura says she has very good hands for handicrafts. She says that she sells her products in Tiribe and Mombasa. Her neighbors say she is responsible and hardworking, important values for making progress in life.
She is applying for the loan in order to purchase thread, needles, dyes and additional materials that are essential for weaving. She is thankful to Yehu Microfinance Trust for the opportunity it has given her.
