Norie has been engaged in rice farming for over 10 years and she usually earns PHP 15,000 per crop year. She is working hard every day to lift her family out of poverty. She is married to a farmer who helps her manage their farm. With the income generated from her business, she has been able to give daily allowances to her children who are studying. Presently, she is requesting a loan of PHP 25,000 to purchase seeds and fertilizers to sustain her rice production. She hopes that she can get the amount she requested to further develop her business.
