Filomeno Serapio
Filomeno is a 54-year-old man who lives in the city of Ica in the district of Parcona with his son, whom he loves and who is his main reason for being. He is a very kind, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who puts all his effort toward getting his son ahead, as Filomeno has always been both mother and father for him. Unfortunately, because of a lack of financial resources and the need to work since he was very young, Filomeno was not able to study to be a professional auto mechanic. In his free time, he likes to watch movies and sometimes he makes delicious baked chicken to share with his family.

On his own initiative, with a great deal of effort and dedication, Filomeno works as a mototaxi driver, offering transportation services in his city. He works every day for around 12 hours and he thinks it is going well because he knows the areas where he can find more passengers.

Filomeno is very thankful to Kiva's lenders, as it is thanks to their help that he will be able to make improvements to his home. He wants to plaster and pour a cement floor in one room of his home as it is currently run down and he wants to offer his family greater safety and wellbeing. To that end, he will keep working and putting in effort to achieve his greatest dream of having his own mototaxi and transportation business.
