Manana is a 44 year old woman. She lives in Asureti village, Tetrtskaro district with her husband and two children who are students.
The family has two milk cows, two calves, two pigs and ten chickens. They milk the cows to make cheese and sell it together with piglets and eggs locally at the markets. In addition, Manana is working as a babysitter for a small monthly income. She requested a loan to purchase two calves and to renovate a cattle shed. She will grow the calves and later milk them to produce more cheese and increase the family income. Increased family income will be used to renovate the house so the family can have better living conditions.
