Gocha is 42 years old and lives in Khoni district with his 37-year-old wife Ia, brother, two children and retired mother.
The main source of income for the family is from agricultural activities. They own a plot of land where they grow nut trees and maize. Harvested products are sold locally at the markets. In addition, Gocha is working as an artisan on the construction of private orders to get a small monthly salary.
He will use part of the loan to purchase a milking cow. They will milk the cow to make cheese and sell it locally at the markets. With the other part they will renovate the house. Selling the cheese will bring the family more monthly income and the renovated house will give them better living conditions.
