Born around 1979 in BAMAKO, Kamissa lives with her four children and husband in a monogamous family in the N’tentou district of Ouelessebougou City.

A teacher by profession, Kamissa soon became interested in revenue-generating work, especially in the buying and selling of clothing, ginger, incense, and soaps.

After having correctly repaid the previous loan. Kamissa is on her second loan with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso. The loan will be used to purchase a significant quantity of ginger, 2 dozen pieces of clothing, and 3 boxes of soaps from wholesalers. Accepting cash or credit, she makes her sales to a customer base composed of men and women at the Ouelessebougou market.

Kamissa hopes to make an average monthly profit of 75,000 francs CFA that will be used for helping her husband to meet family needs, repaying the loan, and reinvesting in her work.
