Chien was born in 1959. She has three daughters and a son. The daughters have got married. The son is a sausage seller. Chien and her husband are sausage makers to earn a living. She has done this job for 20 years. Her income is about 5,000,000 dong (VND) per month. Her family’s total earnings are about 20,000,000 VND per month.
Chien has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2008. In the last cycle, she borrowed 9,184,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 10,080,000 VND to buy more ingredients to make sausages. She always wants to enlarge her business of making and selling sausages.
