She says that she has already had two loan cycles with Pro Mujer, becoming involved at the invitation of a recruiter from the institution who visited her at home. Betty has a business selling food. She has had the business for three years, beginning it on her own initiative. The loan for which she is applying now will be used to augment her capital, buying supplies such as rice, oil, and noodles from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, which she will use to make items for sale at her business. This type of work allows Betty to earn income to maintain her home, because she is married and has a child. When she was asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded that she likes the training in credit.

La A.C. “AYO AYO” iniciará el tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Patacamaya, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Betty es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de celulares, venta de comida, venta de hortalizas, venta de tarjetas telefónicas, compra y venta de ganado, transportista.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Betty es integrante, ella indica que hace dos ciclos que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de un promotor de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de comida; da a conocer que este negocio lo implemento hace tres años por iniciativa propia.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de arroz, aceite, fideo) que adquirirá de las vendedoras mayoristas de la ciudad de La Paz y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de comercialización. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la capacitación en crédito.
