Mario is married. He has 4 children: a married daughter, a married son, his third son is 17 and in the last year of high school, and his youngest, who is 16 years old and in the 5th year of secondary school. His family lives in a home they own in the Tembladerani zone of the city of La Paz. Mario is a driver affiliated with one of the transportation unions of La Paz. He drives a minibus from Monday to Saturday. As the head of household, this income helps cover the family's expenses such as food, schooling, basic services, and other family expenses. His wife sells meals and thus helps financially support the family as well. The loan Mario is requesting is to purchase a motor for his vehicle. Mario's dream is to have a second vehicle which will provide him with opportunities to increase his income. He needs Kiva's support because he has great aspirations to improve his and his family's living conditions.

Actualmente Mario es transportista afiliado a uno de los sindicatos de transportistas de La Paz, maneja un minibús, de lunes a sábado, como jefe de su familia este ingreso le ayuda para poder solventar los gastos familiares como ser alimentación, estudios, servicios básicos, y demás gastos en la familia; su esposa se dedica a la venta de comida y así ayuda financieramente al presupuesto familiar.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
