Mumtaz
Ms. Mumtaz is a 24-year-old married woman and works from home as a tailor. She has been in this line of work for six years now and is proud to be contributing to her household income. When she was not earning, her family went through a severe financial crisis that compelled her to use her stitching skills in a productive manner. Her husband was the sole breadwinner of the family, and due to limited resources none of their children were sent to school. Mumtaz felt it obligatory to change her family’s living standards and started working from home.

Mumtaz is a brave woman and her hard work helped her establish a good client list, but she was having difficulty in fulfilling large orders. That’s then she decided to borrow from Kashf. She has requested a loan for 25,000 PKR, which will be used to purchase a new sewing machine and some spools of thread in various colors.
