Shushanik is from Armavir region. She lives with her husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandchild, Marianna, who is 4 years old. Together with her family, Shushanik is involved in agriculture. She runs a farm which currently includes 40 chickens and 3 cows. Shushanik also owns a plot of agricultural land where 45 apricot, 25 plum and 30 apple trees grow. The whole family works hard to gather good harvests and sell the produce in the local market. Agriculture is the only source of income for this family. As it is very hard for Shushanik to sustain her family and cover its basic costs, she would like to expand her farm. With the help of the loan, Shushanik will purchase 3 bulls, livestock feed and she will renovate her greenhouse which is too old. The loan is very important for Shushanik to expand her farm and ensure a better life for her family.
