Elias is a 29-year-old single man who has been working in his convenience store since 2000. His shop is well known in the region since it opened in 1980, but he took over from his father in 2000 and is working hard to develop it.

His business is going just fine but, as most of the businesses in Lebanon, it requires an external push, which he used to request from Al Majmoua, to add a special item to his shop. Through the previous loans, Elias turned the shop from a only a convenience shop to a money transfer shop and international call center, selling stationary and magazines. In addition he sells mobile phones and prepaid cards.

This diversity in his business attracts additional customers every day and attracts customers' attention when they are in his shop.

Today, Elias is applying for his third loan from Kiva's partner Al Majmoua. This Youth Loan will increase his business merchandise through buying special requested items and increasing special offered products, which attract customers attention.

He hopes to keep on expanding his business and to be capable of moving to a better and wider place in the future.
