Nelly De La Concepcion
Nelly is 54 years old and a single mother of a 21 year old son who is attending a university. She is from Leon, a place located in the western part of the country. In her free time she likes to cook a vary tasty local dish, called "Indio Viejo". Unfortunately she was not able to attend a university because she did not have the financial resources. She therefore struggles every day so that her son can get a career and have a better future. Thanks to her spirit and desire to get ahead, she has a business selling baked goods, making traditional breads of the region. She works 10 hours a day and sells her baked goods as a street vendor, with a 25 kg tray on her head. She does this work with much pleasure because this is the source of income for her son. The reason for the loan is to invest in raw materials for the making of baked goods, such as corn meal, cheese, firewood, gas, sugar, milk. Nelly is grateful for the help that the Kiva investors provide to people with limited financial resources and countries such as Nicaragua, allowing for a way to have a respectable way to make a living.

Nelly de 54 años de edad, madre soltera con un hijo de 21 años el cual está estudiando en la Universidad. Ella es originaria de León, lugar que está ubicado en la zona de occidente del país. En su ratos libres le gusta cocina un riquísimo plato típico de la región.” Indio Viejo” lamentablemente por falta de recursos económico, no pudo cursar una carrera universitaria. Por lo cual lucha día a día para que su logre coronar una carrera y tenga un futuro mejor.
Gracia a su espíritu y sus ganas de salir adelante es que tiene por actividad económica venta de cosa de horno, es un pan típico de la región; ella dedica a su negocio unas 10 horas diarias ofreciendo la cosa de horno de forma ambulante, con una pana sobre su cabeza de unos 25 kg. Actividad que la desempeña con mucho gusto, porque es la fuente de ingresos y de su hijo. El objetivo del crédito en invertir en materia prima para la elaboración de cosa de horno como: maíz, cuajada, leña, gas, cal, azúcar, leche. Nelly agradece la ayuda que los inversionistas kiva les brindan a personas de escasos recursos y países pobre como es Nicaragua para tener un medio de trabajo digno.
