Mwanakombo is 39 years old, married and has four children. For the past six years she has made a living selling seafood (fish, shellfish, octopus and other items depending on demand). She stands out as an enterprising person with a desire to move up in life, as her business has grown so much that she sells to restaurants and in other parts of the country.
Mwanakombo is requesting the loan because she wants to expand her market even more, purchasing more fish in bundles for distribution. This will help her make headway for all of her children, who look to her as an example of self-improvement.
