Sabeth is 60 years old and married with three children. She is a farmer in Kangundo town where she sells cash crop produce from her farm. These include maize, beans and vegetables. She has been in the farming business for four years now and it has been profitable.
This is Sabeth's second loan term and she plans to use the loan to buy fertilizer and seedlings in preparation for the planting season. She anticipates making more income which she will use to pay school fees for her children. She hopes to grow her farming business by planting more cash crops on a large scale, so she can make more income and be able to provide for the needs of her family.
