Thanks to her enterprising spirit and her drive to get ahead, Faiza runs a business. She has owned a hardware store for a year, and it's located in a specific spot of her town. Faiza's daily routine is working about 10 hours a day offering her services. She runs this business with great pleasure, so that in a not-so-distant future she'll be able to improve her profits. The purpose of the loan is to invest in working capital and to stock up her business with hardware such as zinc, cement, beams, nails, iron, wire, paint, screws, brushes, and PVC pipes.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
